Data delivery, authentication, and now the CBSSports.com front end. Each one taught me a different part of how the site actually works.

Started on the tools that keep live game data right, then built one login across CBS Sports, CBS News, SportsLine, and more (14.8M login requests in 30 days). Now I'm on the CBSSports.com front end, moving pages like Fantasy Football onto our new design system.

My first developer job. Proof-of-concept IoT systems that pulled sensor data off industrial equipment. None of it reached a customer, but it's where I learned Docker, hardware, and how these systems talk to each other.

Live sports data tools
When a vendor's live feed goes down mid-game, operators get alerted and can enter plays themselves or switch to a backup. I built the bulk fixes they asked for, so fixing 20+ games on a Saturday takes 3-5 minutes.

Rebuilt ACA.org on a headless CMS. Lots of back-and-forth on the designs, and a lot of time on caching so it loads fast.

A place for Rainbow Six Siege players to write up strategies for each bomb site, pin them on the map, and vote on the ones that work.

Budget Analyzer
A self-hosted dashboard for bank and credit card exports. It dedupes overlapping imports, sorts spending into categories, and groups messy merchant names, so I can see where my money actually goes.

A TV buyer's guide built on specs from six manufacturers' own sites, 842 models in all. Measure your room, weight what matters, and compare a shortlist side by side, or see a TV at true size on a photo of your own wall.

Immich Screenshot Detection
Finds the screenshots in an Immich photo library and tags them, using edge, color, and text detection. Runs in Docker next to Immich.

I didn't plan on software
My brothers are developers. I studied mechanical engineering to pave my own path, but Python pulled me in anyway. Helping them on a side project taught me React, and lead me to where I am today.
At work, I'm known for taking ownership of projects and paying attention to the small details. Outside of it, I spend my time following Christ, playing games, listening to music, and hiking.
